The material - Steamed ash wood
Besides beech and oak, ash is one of the most important native hardwood species. It occurs in Europe, usually in the more northern regions. For this shaving brush, the wood is briefly heated to a very high temperature.

This gives it a high resistance to water, the grain is accentuated and the wood gets its brown color. However, to preserve the naturalness of the surface, it is only treated with oil and not varnished. This offers the wood perfect protection against water and makes it particularly durable.

Without chrome the world would lose much of its shine. It shows its best qualities in the finish of our wet shaving accessories: The material is corrosion-resistant, very long-lasting and has a luxurious, seductive shine. In contrast, the colors and shapes of other high-quality materials come into their own.

The hair - Pure badger
The Pure badger is the basic quality among natural hair types. The material is recognizable by its relatively dark color. The individual bristles are somewhat thicker, but still soft and much more flexible than bristles.
