The Material - Steamed Ash
In addition to beech and oak, ash is one of the most important native hardwood species, primarily found in the northern regions of Europe. For our purposes, the wood is briefly heated to a very high temperature. During this process, the wood gains high water resistance, the grain is accentuated, and the wood acquires its characteristic brown color. To maintain the natural appearance, the surface is treated with oil instead of lacquer. This provides the wood with perfect protection against water and makes it particularly durable.

Without chrome, the world would lose much of its shine. In the finishing of our shaving accessories, chrome shows its best properties: the material is corrosion-resistant, very durable, and has a luxurious, seductive shine. When combined with other high-quality materials, colors and shapes come into their own beautifully.
