Muhle double edge safety razor ROCCA stainless steel matte black R96
Stainless steel safety razor - classic razor
with matte black handle structure
The ROCCA series
Beautifully simple, yet distinctly masculine: This is the new ROCCA product line. A bit more modern and distinctive than much of what is known from MÜHLE, made from the finest and most durable stainless steel. But it was worth it: These products are particularly durable and robust.
The satin or light matte finish not only feels pleasant to the touch, but is also beautiful to look at and gives an elegant appearance.
Despite all these new details, the legacy of ROCCA is still clearly present. The design of this line is a further development of the classic MÜHLE models; the name ROCCA (derived from the Italian word for castle or fort) refers to the very best materials – and also to the fact that a MÜHLE product lasts a lifetime, and even longer.
The ROCCA razor
Without frills, but with refined extras: The ROCCA razor is both clear and masculine. The uninterrupted lines from attachment to base make it both beautiful and practical: Thanks to the ergonomic shape and surface texture of the handle, it feels good in the hand. As experts say: It has grip. It turns an everyday ritual into a daily design experience.
The surface structure of the black handle is a modern interpretation of the knurling on the handle of a classic safety razor. The honeycomb structure not only provides a contrasting accent with the satin-finished stainless steel but is also very tactile and offers excellent grip.

Application
Shaving with a safety razor requires some practice. The skin also needs some time to get used to the shave. It will be easier if you follow these instructions:
Moisten the beard area, preferably with warm water, and lather it thoroughly with a brush. The longer you lather the beard, the easier and softer the hairs can be cut. If possible, use a very effective moisturizing shaving cream or soap, so that the blade glides more easily over the skin. Make sure that the shaving head and handle are securely attached to each other, but only tighten the screw so that it can be unscrewed again without too much effort.
This ensures that the razor rests at the correct angle. Start shaving now. Hold the safety razor at a blunt angle (about 30°) relative to the skin. Start at the cheeks and let the razor glide gently over the skin, applying light pressure. Always shave in the direction of hair growth (with the hair). When shaving the neck, pull the skin tight with your free hand. Don't be discouraged by small cuts or abrasions. Once you get used to the razor, they occur rarely.
