Mühle Alum Stone

The original aftershave. Alum stone is a naturally occurring substance that was originally part of every hairdressing equipment. After shaving, alum has an antiseptic effect, closing the skin pores. It is also great for wound repair. Alum binds to proteins of the damaged skin and causes it to contract, stopping the bleeding.

Moisten the stone with lukewarm water and rub the stone over the shaved skin. The stone releases a saline solution that disinfects the skin and closes the pores.
